Located just behind the Thermae Spa, Pococks Lodgings which sits above The Grapes pub has been welcoming visitors to the city since at least 1694 when it was noted on Gilmore's Map.
Originally a townhouse built for the wealthy to take the nearby Waters of Sulis, today our recently refurbished upper floors are home to our family with the best rooms kept for guests and the name Pococks Lodgings used once more.
Sleeping up to 8 people in three rooms, the rooms are arranged over two floors, with only one group of guests booked at any time. Due to the listed status of this rare Elizabethan building, there is no lift, so visitors will need to be able to climb the stairs to get to the accommodation. Noise from the pub is negligible as we have soundproofed between each floor, though being in a town centre location you may sometimes get disturbance from the street.
