1692 Visit of Anne, daughter of James II, who returned in 1702 and 1703 as Queen.
1705 Appointment of Richard 'Beau' Nash as master of ceremonies.
1706 The first Pump Room built on the north side of the King's Bath.
1718 Hetling House (now the site of the Spa Visitor Centre) built. In the 18th Century it was a pump room where people drank the waters.
1727 Discovery of bronze head of Minerva beneath Stall Street, now on display in Roman Baths.
1734 Visit to Bath of Prince William of Orange, who was said to have benefited greatly from the waters, and after whom Orange Grove is named.
