Project History

On 13 November 1997, the Millennium Commission announced that the Bath Spa Project was successful in its application for grant funding. The £7.78 million grant signalled the end of a 20 year period in which Bath existed as a spa in name only. The aim of the Bath Spa Project was to reconnect the City with its very reason for being - the naturally occurring thermal springs. For more details on this remarkable project click here.
