OPENING - 7th August 2006

Thermae Managing Director Henk Verschuur said: “I am absolutely delighted to be able to announce the opening date of Thermae Bath Spa. This is the moment we have all been waiting for and I am very proud to make this announcement.

“I know I have a dedicated team all ready and eager to offer spa bathing in the natural thermal waters and a wide range of treatments in an inspirational setting. I also believe the opening of Thermae Bath Spa heralds a new and exciting era for Bath as Britain’s most famous spa destination.”

The announcement of this date is based upon the current progress being made between Bath & North East Somerset Council and Thermae on the handover and run-up to opening of the Spa.

Thermae Bath Spa is working closely with the international,

award-winning company, Pevonia Botanica, whose range of spa, health and beauty products will be used in the new Spa.

Paul Mason, of Pevonia UK said: “I am very excited to hear the great news that Thermae Bath Spa will be opening in early August. I am sure that everyone who visits Thermae will have a wonderful experience and will leave feeling relaxed and refreshed.”

Over the next few weeks Thermae will be busy on its ‘countdown to opening’, including:

•Moving all our staff into the main spa buildings and completing its onsite training

•Carrying out ‘live testing’ of all systems

•Opening our advance reservations

•Putting the final touches to the menu in the Springs Café & Restaurant

•Completing the final fit-out.
