Spas - Ancient and Modern

Our joint package, Spas - Ancient and Modern, features a visit to the world famous Roman Baths museum, lunch in the classical Pump Room and a 2-hour spa session at Thermae Bath Spa. This special package should be booked in advance.

Start your day at the Roman Baths and discover what the Romans did for Bath: see one of the sources of the thermal waters and explore the monumental remains of the great Roman temple and magnificent bath-house, still flowing with natural hot water.

Then visit the Pump Room above the spring, where you can participate in the age-old tradition of sampling the waters drawn from the famous spa fountain, before you sit down to enjoy a three course lunch in the Pump Room. Served between 12.00-14.30.

Alternatively, you can visit Thermae Bath Spa in the morning and the Roman Baths in the afternoon - it is possible to book for a champagne tea instead of lunch, served in the Pump Room between 14.30-16.30.

Complete your day with a 2-hour spa session at Thermae Bath Spa, Britain's original and only natural thermal Spa. Here you can relax in the aromatic steam rooms and enjoy the natural thermal waters of the Minerva Bath and the open-air rooftop pool with its magnificent views over the skyline of Bath.

Thermae is open from 9.00 - 22.00 (last entry at 19.30). This offer does not include towels, robe and slippers. You are welcome to bring your own or they can be hired at Thermae Bath Spa.
