Thermae Bath Spa offers something a little different for that special event, such as a birthday, reunion or anniversary. It has also proven an original venue for holding social gatherings, pre/post wedding festivities and special celebrations.
The New Royal Bath
Guests visiting the New Royal Bath can choose from a 2-hour or 4-hour spa session which includes use of the following facilities:
- Minerva Bath with its flowing curves and grand columns
- Four aromatic steam rooms with essences such as eucalyptus mint
- Open-air rooftop pool with fabulous views over the city of Bath
- Springs Restaurant

To add that finishing touch to your event, our in-house catering team can create a choice of buffets, canapés, pastries and cakes, to be served within our private function room, the Source.
Group Discounts
For groups of 8 or more, we offer a 10% discount on spa sessions from Monday - Thursday. There are no discounts on spa treatments or packages. The New Royal Bath is open daily from 09.00 - 21.30 (pools & steam rooms close at 21.00).
Group Time Slots in the New Royal Bath (for groups of 8 or more, subject to availability)
- Fridays and Bank Holidays: 9.30am, 10am, 11.30am and 2.30pm
- Saturdays: 9.30am, 10am, 3.30pm, 6pm and 6.30pm
- Sundays: 9.30am, 10am, 2.30pm, 6pm and 6.30pm
The Cross Bath
The stand-alone Cross Bath provides a unique venue for a small gathering with family, friends or colleagues. With its intimate setting and Georgian architecture, the Cross Bath is available to hire exclusively for groups up to a maximum of 12 people. To make the celebration complete, our catering team is happy to create a selection of canapés to be served with wine or Champagne within the covered foyer area of the Cross Bath. The Cross Bath is open daily from 10.00 - 20.00 (Last full entry 18.00).
The Cross Bath can be reserved for exclusive use for up to 1 ½ hours. £160 (inc. VAT) Maximum: 12 people
As the Cross Bath is a historic, stand alone building separate from the main spa, it does not have the facilities to offer spa treatments.
